millimetres beyond the MAX mark.
Do not allow the fluid to touch
your skin or eyes. If this
happens, rinse the affected areas
immediately with plenty of water and
contact your doctor.
Remove the dipstick and wipe it with
a clean, lint free cloth. Replace the
dipstick and remove it again to check
the oil level.
If the level is at the MIN mark, top up
immediately.
CAUTION
Make sure that the level is
between the MIN and the MAX
marks.

CAUTION
Do not use oils which do not meet the specifications or requirements.
Use of unsuitable oil may lead to engine damage which is not covered by
the Ford Warranty.
1
You can use an alternative SAE 5W-30 engine oil, providing it meets the
specification defined by WSS-M2C913-B.
Note: If you operate your vehicle in temperatures below -20°C, you must
not use SAE 10W-40 engine oil.
Topping up the oil: If you are unable to find an oil that meets the
specification defined by WSS-M2C913-B, you must use SAE 5W-30
(preferred), SAE 5W-40 or SAE 10W-40 that meets the specification defined
by either ACEA A1/B1(preferred) or ACEA A3/B3. Using these oils can result
in longer engine cranking periods, reduced engine performance, reduced
fuel economy and increased emission levels.
