Through the information provided by the usual means of dissemination (magazines,
newspapers, technical bulletins, etc.) users in general and technicians are informed
of the main characteristics of operation, construction, driving,
active and passive behavior, consumption and maintenance of the vehicle; but this
information is not enough for industry professionals, especially for
cruise adjusters, appraisers, and repair technicians who need the
prior knowledge of the vehicle's construction detail and the technical constraints
that intervene in its reparability.
The purpose of the Descriptive and Repairability Manuals for Vehicles published
by CESVI MEXICO, is to provide cruise adjusters, valuators and
repair technicians the necessary data to carry out their work rigorously in
benefit of users and the sector in general.
These documents focus especially on aspects of bodywork, paint and
collision mechanics, its content is oriented towards the study of the characteristics
techniquesandtheidentificationofnewmodelsandmaterials, aswellasthedescription
of each of its elements and the repairability of the bodywork. They indicate
