Bluetooth  
The functions depend on the country and the  
equipment fitted in your vehicle:  
You can set whether the MMI system is visible to  
other Bluetooth devices.  
Map material update for the navigation system

Visible: Bluetooth is activated. The MMI is visi-  
ble to other Bluetooth devices.  
Software updates at your Audi dealership. This  
may lead to additional costs.  
Invisible: Bluetooth is activated. Bluetooth de-  
vices can be connected via the MMI. The MMI is  
not visible on other Bluetooth devices.  
Off: Bluetooth is deactivated. Bluetooth devices  
cannot be connected.  
WARNING  
Only perform the installation when the vehi-  
cle is stationary – risk of accident!  
In the event of installation errors, please  
contact a qualified workshop without delay  
and have the fault rectified.  
Bluetooth audio player  
When this function is switched on, the profile  
will be connected automatically as soon as your  
Bluetooth audio player is within range.  
Connected devices  
Displaying connected devices  
Bluetooth name  
The Bluetooth name of the MMI is displayed and  
can be changed.  
Important: The vehicle must be stationary, and  
the ignition must be switched on.  
Applies to MMI: On the home screen, select DE-  
VICES.  
Note  
The name of the Wi-Fi hotspot and the Blue-  
tooth name are automatically matched if  
changes are made.

Important: The ignition must be switched on.

Smartphone interface  
You can connect your smartphone to the MMI  
ðpage 304.  
The factory settings will be restored. The system  
will be restarted. This can take some time.  
myAudi app  
This function is available when the corresponding  
Audi app is installed and running on your mobile  
device and the mobile device is connected to the  
vehicle’s Wi-Fi hotspot.  
Note  
Please note that not only settings will be de-  
leted when you do this; saved data may also  
be erased.  
CAUTION

nect, particularly with regard to connection

Software update

You can use software updates to keep the soft-  
ware in your vehicle up to date.

Managing connected devices  
Note  
Important: The connected devices menu must be  
displayed ðpage 307.  
Audi recommends connecting no more than  
six devices. You should delete any devices you  
no longer need at regular intervals.  
Connecting a device  
Important: The Bluetooth discoverability option  
must be activated for the MMI system

Activate this function to set a paired mobile  
phone as the standard phone on the MMI.
