Navigation for Your Audi S Q5 SUV Third Generation (2025-2026)

Emergency call  
Turning on the function  
Applies to: MMI  
it until the LED stays on. The emergency call  
will be canceled.

Turn on the Send phone number during an  
emergency call function.  
Automatic emergency call  
The vehicle electrical system initiates an auto-  
matic emergency call under certain circumstan-  
ces, for example if an airbag deploys. The LED in  
the emergency call button 2 will blink. The  
emergency call will be made. The emergency call  
cannot be canceled.  
Messages  
Applies to: vehicles with emergency call function  
Emergency call function: malfunction! Lim-  
ited availability. Please contact Service  
LED status  
If this indicator light turns on and this message  
appears, the emergency call function is restrict-  
ed. For example, you cannot call the emergency  
call center, but data may still be transmitted un-  
der certain circumstances. Drive to an authorized  
Audi dealer or authorized Audi Service Facility im-  
mediately to have the malfunction corrected.  
Green – The emergency call function is availa-  
ble.  
Red – There is a malfunction in the emergency  
call function. Contact an authorized Audi dealer  
or authorized Audi Service Facility. Note the  
messages about the availability of the emer-  
gency function ðpage 207.  
Emergency call function: malfunction! Func-  
tion unavailable. Please contact Service  
Off – The emergency call function is not availa-  
ble, perhaps because no network is available.  
If this indicator light turns on and this message  
appears, you cannot make an emergency call.  
Drive to an authorized Audi dealer or authorized  
Audi Service Facility immediately to have the  
malfunction corrected.  
Warnings  
If there is a critical system failure in the emer-  
gency call systems, the vehicle occupants will re-  
ceive the following warning: see ðpage 207, LED  
status and ðpage 207, Messages.  
Online roadside  
assistance  
Tips  
If the emergency call ends due to a poor con-  
nection, then the system will automatically  
try to connect again.

If you press the button 3 by mistake, then  
press it again.  
Audi incident assistance  
A minor accident may be detected by the vehicle  
electrical system. You can select between online  
roadside assistance and an emergency call in the  
MMI.  
Tips  
If the roadside assistance call is canceled due  
to a poor connection, then the call must be  
made again.

The navigation system directs you to your desti-  
nation, around traffic incidents, and on alterna-  
tive routes, if desired.  
Tips  
Snow and objects on the GPS antenna or  
trees and large buildings can impair satel-  
lite reception and affect the system's ability  
to determine the vehicle position. Several  
deactivated or malfunctioning satellites can  
interrupt GPS reception.  
Opening navigation  
Applies to: MMI: Press NAVIGATION on the  
home screen.  
After accessing the navigation for the first time,  
the map is displayed.  
Because street names sometimes change,  
the names stored in the MMI may in rare  
cases differ from the actual street name.  
Applies to: multifunction steering wheel:  
Depending on the selected function, opera-  
tion through the MMI may be required.  
Applies to: vehicles with Audi connect Info-  
tainment: Depending on the country and ve-  
hicle equipment, additional services may be  
available.  
Opening navigation using the multifunction  
steering wheel  
Select the Navigation tab in the instrument  
cluster.  
To display navigation when route guidance has  
started, select in the instrument cluster: the  
button > Map.  
An additional indicator will appear in the  
head-up display*.

are synchronized through your myAudi account.  
All important destinations can be displayed in  
the vehicle and in the myAudi app.

The demands of traffic require full attention  
of all road users. Always read the chapter

The route calculated by the navigation sys-  
tem is a driving recommendation. Follow  
To load destinations in the vehicle automatically,  
Audi recommends logging into the vehicle with a  
myAudi user ðpage 32.

Navigation  
myAudi navigation functions:  
Enter one or more search terms into the input  
field.  
The search engine provider shows suggestions  
to narrow down the search.  
Press on suggestions, if available, until the de-  
sired destination appears in the results list. If  
necessary, use one finger to swipe upward or  
downward until the suggestions or destina-  
tions appear.  
Press on the desired destination . Route guid-  
ance will start.  
To open the Details ðpage 212 menu, press  
.  
You can send destinations and routes from the  
myAudi app to the vehicle ðpage 212.  
Active route guidance in the myAudi app can be  
continued in the MMI.  
Depending on the situation, it may be possible  
to continue active route guidance from the MMI  
in the myAudi app to continue navigating to the  
destination after leaving the vehicle.  
Tips  
All services/apps can be modified, activat-  
ed/deactivated, renamed, and enhanced  
without further notification.  
Hybrid search  
Depending on the country and model there  
may be an app other than the “myAudi app”  
available for your vehicle. For additional in-  
formation, see .  
If the symbol is displayed in color in the MMI,  
then the hybrid search is turned off.  
To turn on the hybrid search, press the colored  
symbol.  
Requirement: hybrid search is turned on.  
Entering a destination  
Enter one or more search terms into the input

Using the online search option, you can use the  
results from a search engine provider to find a  
navigation destination.  
Online Points of Interest  
Searching for points of interest: enter the  
name of a POI.  
Select: a symbol for a POI category (such as  
) > a POI, or  
To display all categories and search for a POI,  
select: > a category (such as restaurants) >  
a POI.  
Using the hybrid search option, you can enter the  
data for a navigation destination in any order all  
at once (for example, 5th Avenue New York).  
Likewise, you can search for points of interest or  
contacts in order to navigate to the desired desti-  
nation.  
Change search area

As soon as you start route guidance, the destina-  
tion is automatically saved in the last destina-  
tions. Your previous destinations are marked with  
the symbol.  
Tips  
The MMI input suggestions depend on the  
last navigated destinations.  
The navigation system always searches for  
the fastest route. You can have alternative  
routes displayed if necessary ðpage 216.  
If the destination cannot be found, it may  
not be stored in the navigation database.  
Check the spelling of the term that was  
searched or check the search area  
If you use myAudi navigation, your previous desti-  
nations will be synchronized with your myAudi  
account ðpage 209.  
Accessing previous destinations  
Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:  
NAVIGATION > () > Last destinations > select  
a destination > Start.

Distances to points of interest are displayed  
as a straight-line distance from your current  
location. The actual distance from your cur-  
rent location to the point of interest is up-  
dated automatically. The list of points of in-  
terest that were found is not resorted when  
this happens.

> button > Last destinations > a destina-  
tion.  
Deleting previous destinations  
Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:

Tips  
The last route will be automatically deleted  
from the list if you start a new route guidance

you are using navigation.  
Navigation view with route guidance

Without starting route guidance, your MMI can  
check the traffic conditions and show possible  
traffic incidents for the possible routes to be driv-  
en.

Opening personal routes  
Requirement: predictive route guidance is turned  
on ðpage 220. Route guidance must not be ac-  
tive. A notification is displayed.  
The MMI displays up to three suggestions.  
Press on a suggestion. Route guidance will  
start.

Better routes  
Requirement: route guidance must be on  
ðpage 210.  
If there are major traffic incidents, the MMI will  
display a notification regardless of the selected  
menu. If the MMI has calculated a better route,  
you can select it as the route.  
The following information will be displayed in the  
driver information system, if available:

Current vehicle position  
Press on the notification.  
A bar graph appears when there is an upcom-  
ing turn. The fewer the bars that are shown,  
the shorter the distance is until the turn. If  
there is no upcoming turn immediately  
ahead, the distance to the destination or  
stopover, the calculated arrival time, and a  
direction arrow for the upcoming maneuver  
will be displayed in the right speedometer. If  
there is no upcoming maneuver, the distance  
to the next maneuver will be displayed.  
As soon as you turn off predictive route guidance,  
your personal routes will no longer be recorded.  
Routes that were already stored will remain stor-  
ed.  
Deleting personal routes  
Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:  
NAVIGATION > > Predictive route guidance  
> Delete recordings from the last 24 hours or  
Delete all personal routes and destinations.

Press Home address or Business address.  
You can block the current route for a certain dis-  
tance starting from the vehicle position, for ex-  
ample to drive around upcoming streets or tun-  
nel closures. The navigation system automatical-  
ly calculates an alternative route and the length  
of the blocked route. The route to be avoided  
that you have entered applies only to the current  
route and must be set again, if needed. The areas  
you have selected to avoid will appear with red  
and white shading on the map.  
When accessed for the first time, you will be  
prompted to set the address.  
Select: Create now > enter a destination > OK.  
Editing a home address or business address  
Requirement: the favorites list must be dis-  
played. Your home address or business address  
must be stored.  
Press Home address or Business address until  
the Options menu is displayed.  
Select: Change address > enter a destination >  
(Set as destination) or (Add to address) > OK.  
Block route: press 3 ðfig. 155.  
Cancel route block: press .  
Displaying alternative routes in the  
foreground

After deleting the home address or business  
address, only the address is deleted and the  
entry will still be displayed in the favorites.  
Please note when moving favorites that  
items 1 and 2 are reserved for the home ad-  
dress and business address.

ess may take several seconds.

gions are available for your MMI.  
Starting the update  
Requirement: the MMI must be connected to the  
Internet ðpage 200, Audi connect.  
Applies to: MMI: To allow automatic online map  
updates, select on the home screen: SETTINGS  
> System maintenance > Automatic online  
map update. The MMI starts the map update  
automatically in the background when new  
map material is available.

mation online  
The MMI can receive real-time online traffic infor-  
mation about congestion, accidents, road con-  
struction, and other incidents.  
Requirement: the MMI must be connected to the  
Internet ðpage 200, Audi connect. Traffic infor-  
mation must be turned on in the MMI  
ðpage 219.

A traffic message is displayed. The distance  
to the hazardous area is calculated from the  
current vehicle position.  
The traffic messages are only shown when  
route guidance is active. Press on a line to  
display details about it.  
Traffic information will be displayed on the  
standard map ðpage 213, fig. 152.  
Depending on vehicle equipment, online traffic  
information may also be displayed on the satel-  
lite map ðpage 217.  
Tips  
Particularly critical traffic information, such  
as warnings about wrong-way drivers, is au-  
tomatically displayed as a notification.  
Traffic information is not available in some  
countries.  
Tips  
Having the traffic information online func-  
tion turned on provides the most accurate  
reports of traffic situations and traffic fore-  
casting. Your vehicle transmits and process-  
es its anonymous, encrypted position infor-  
mation at regular intervals to the traffic da-  
ta provider. You can turn off data transfer at  
any time ðpage 314.  
Traffic rerouting  
Applies to: vehicles with navigation system  
By receiving traffic information, your MMI calcu-  
lates a better route if available and the possible  
time saved compared to the current route.  
The traffic information online network is  
not available in all countries, and the cover-  
age is not nationwide.  
Traffic rerouting  
Start route guidance.  
The MMI uses a notification or a note in the traf-  
fic information 1 ðpage 218, fig. 157 to indi-  
cate a better route. You can decide which route  
you would like to use.  
Settings  
Applies to: vehicles with navigation system  
You can adjust the navigation system settings in  
the instrument cluster and in the MMI display  
separately. The settings depend on the country  
and vehicle equipment.  
To select a better route, you have the following  
options:  
Notification: press . The better route will be  
used for route guidance, or press on the notifi-  
cation. Press on the information window for the  
better route (for example 2 ðpage 216,  
fig. 155).  
Accessing settings
