Radio for Your Audi S Q5 SUV Third Generation (2025-2026)

Navigation  
Voice guidance  
A setting made using the multifunction steering  
wheel only applies to the instrument cluster  
map.  
Voice guidance: with the Traffic info setting, the  
MMI will only give prompts if there are traffic in-  
cidents on your route.  
Map settings  
Voice guidance during phone call  
Satellite map: see ðpage 217.  
Range map: see ðpage 217.  
Entertainment fader during navigation: the au-  
dio playback volume is temporarily lowered when  
navigation prompts are active.  
Traffic info: you can display current traffic infor-  
mation on the map.

You can adjust which route criteria should be al-  
lowed or avoided for the route calculation.

Route information  
2D heading-up map/2D north-up map: the  
current vehicle position is displayed. The map is  
oriented in the direction of travel or to the  
north.  
When this function is turned on and route guid-  
ance is active, route information ðpage 213,  
fig. 152 is displayed. The next maneuver will be  
displayed at the bottom. POIs and traffic infor-  
mation will also be displayed. Press route infor-  
mation to display a preview of the next maneuver  
on the map. You can turn the following informa-  
tion on or off in route information.  
3D map: the current vehicle position is shown  
on a three-dimensional map and is aligned in  
the direction of travel.  
Overview: the entire route from the vehicle po-  
sition to the destination or the next stopover is  
displayed on the map. The map is oriented to  
the north.

Use hybrid search as the default  
Automatic zoom  
On: the map scale is adapted automatically de-  
pending on the type of road being traveled (ex-  
pressway, highway, other roads) so that you al-  
ways have an optimal overview of the road  
ahead. When route guidance is active, the scale  
is adjusted automatically for a better detailed  
view when there are upcoming maneuvers.  
Intersection: when route guidance is active, the  
scale is adjusted automatically for a better de-  
tailed view when there are upcoming maneu-  
vers.  
When this function is turned on, the hybrid  
search will be used as the default for the destina-  
tion search.  
Predictive route guidance  
The predictive route guidance is turned off when  
the vehicle is delivered from the factory.  
Your trips are recorded and destinations are sug-  
gested by the MMI when this function is turned  
on ðpage 215.  
Off  
Presentation mode  
MMI map contents/Map content: you can turn  
the display of additional information (such as  
POIs) on the map in the center display on or off.  
In presentation mode, the system simulates driv-  
ing on the display along the planned route with-  
out the vehicle actually moving. You can use

Specify starting point when you would like to  
calculate a route starting from a location other  
than the current vehicle position, for example.  
Simulating route guidance: start route guidance  
and press presentation mode.  
Tips  
You can change the volume of navigation an-

The system attempts to receive the  
station/podcast through the Internet.  
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the radio  
may support the FM, AM, and SiriusXM (satellite  
radio) frequency bands. Using the HD Radio re-  
ceiver* also allows you to receive radio stations  
on the FM and AM bands in digital format.  
Tips  
Contact the SiriusXM* provider if you would  
like to receive satellite programming.  
Buildings, tunnels, bridges, open areas, oth-  
er vehicles, or objects on the vehicle roof  
can affect reception.  
Depending on the vehicle equipment and the se-  
lected station list, the following information will  
be displayed:

Station list  
Satellite radio* is not available in all re-  
gions.  
Shows the stations that are currently availa-  
ble. The station list updates automatically.

Adjusting the radio using the MMI  
For example, the station name may be dis-  
played depending on availability.  
Applies to: MMI: To set a frequency band, select  
on the home screen: RADIO > Source a catego-  
ry.  
Applies to: MMI: To set a station, select on the  
home screen: RADIO > Source > a category > a  
station/podcast*.  
HD Radio technology  
FM/AM stations that can be received by digi-  
tal radio are marked with the HD Radio tech-  
nology symbol .  
If reception quality declines, the radio auto-  
matically switches to the analog FM/AM sta-  
tion depending on availability.  
To select a frequency, follow the instructions  
under ðpage 224, Free text search.

Additional audio programs  
Adjusting the radio using the multifunction

Digital HD Radio stations may contain multi-  
ple additional audio programs. If you lose re-  
ception, the additional audio programs will

Using the Live Sports category, you can find live  
commentary about your favorite teams during a  
live sports broadcast. Depending on vehicle  
equipment, you may be able to turn commentary  
that favors a certain side on or off.  
Listening to last stations  
Press on a station.  
Deleting last stations  
Accessing live games  
Select: > select one or more stations or Se-  
lect all > Delete > (Done).

Sports > a game.  
Presets  
The score, the status of the game, and, if availa-  
ble, the current possession of the ball are dis-  
played.  
You can store your favorite stations from every  
frequency band in the presets list.  
Applies to: SiriusXM: Channels, shows, and  
sports teams will be stored in the presets as  
Smart Favorites. After turning on the ignition and  
the MMI, the Smart Favorites store radio pro-  
grams at a specific time.  
Saving/deleting a favorite team  
Press /.  
Turning commentary on or off  
Requirement: the MMI must be connected to the

Selecting the destination  
Depending on the Internet connection and  
network traffic, the connection may be lost  
when online radio is playing.  
Select: a navigation destination marked in col-  
or > Set as destination.  
Online radio reception may not be possible  
if Internet service is throttled.  
Call  
Select: a phone number marked in color > Call.  
Online radio usage depends on the availabil-  
ity of the service from the third party pro-  
vider.  
Tips  
The range and screen display of online radio  
services from third party providers in the ve-  
hicle may vary.  
A call to a phone number stored in the radio  
text will start immediately.  
Please note that it may not be possible to  
play some online radio stations in certain  
countries.

Audi only provides access to online radio  
and does not assume any responsibility for  
the content of these services.  
You can listen to various radio stations or pod-  
casts on the Internet using online radio.  
Podcasts  
Requirement: the MMI must be connected to the  
Internet ðpage 200, Audi connect. Depending  
on the country, a data package may also be re-  
quired ðpage 205.

Opening podcasts using the MMI
