Broadcasting) radio  
Digital radio provides higher quality  
reception and also the graphical  
display of current information on the radio  
station being listened to.  
The various "multiplexes/ensembles" offer  
a choice of radio stations organised in  
alphabetical order.  
The volume may be higher when receiving  
traffic alerts or news.  
If the "DAB" radio station is not  
available, the sound cuts out when the  
digital signal quality becomes poor and the  
"AF" alternative frequency is crossed out.  
First adjust the volume on the portable device  
(to a high level).  
Then adjust the volume of the system.  
If playback does not start, it may be necessary  
to start the audio playback from the  
smartphone.  
Media  
Control is from the portable device or by using  
the system's touch buttons.  
Changing the source (Radio  
to Media)  
Once connected in streaming mode,  
the smartphone is considered to be a  
media source.  
Press Radio to display the main page.  
DAB/FM station tracking  
Press this button to swith to Media main  
page.  
This icon is displayed.  
"DAB" does not cover 100% of the  
territory.  
Playing a track  
Press Media to display the main page.  
When the digital radio signal is poor,  
the "AF" (alternative frequency) option  
enables to continue listening to the same  
station by automatically switching to the  
corresponding "FM" analogue station (if  
there is one).  
Audio Settings/Devices Settings  
Once the portable device is connected,  
browsing through the files is possible by  
pressing this button.  
Some information appears, such as the title,  
artist, album and duration of the track currently  
playing.

Changing the media source  
Press Media to display the main page.  
When the system switches to

To make a call directly from the smartphone,  
the vehicle must first be safely stopped.

bottom of the page.

Information and advice  
Press this button to display the numeric  
keypad.  
Compose the phone number on the numeric  
keypad.  
The system supports USB Mass Storage devices  
or Apple® devices via the USB sockets. The  
adapter cable is not supplied.  
While driving, it is always possible to  
use the steering wheel controls or  
voice commands to start or end a call.  
Devices are managed using the audio system  
controls.  
Press this button to launch the call.  
The system will only play audio files with ".wma,  
.aac, .flac, .ogg, .mp3" file extensions, at bit rates  
between 32 Kbps and 320 Kbps.  
It also supports VBR (Variable Bit Rate) mode.  
No other file types (".mp4", etc.) can be read.  
".wma" files must be of the WMA 9 standard.  
The supported sampling rates are 32, 44 and  
48 KHz.  
To avoid reading and display problems, it is  
recommended to choose file names less than  
20 characters long that do not contain any  
special characters (e.g. “ ? . ; ù).  
Use only USB memory sticks in FAT32 format  
(File Allocation Table).  
Receiving a call  
Calling a contact from the phonebook  
An incoming call is announced by a ring and a  
superimposed display in the screen.  
To accept the incoming call:

phonebook.  
Select the desired contact name in the list or  
Press this button to search the contact  
name.  
Enter your first letters; the corresponding  
contact names appear.  
Select the desired contact name in the list.  
Press this button to launch the call.

Once the call has been picked up, a screen  
appears with the following information:  
– the caller's phone number.  
– the call status (incoming/outgoing, in  
progress, conference, ended).  
– the call duration.
