It has a manual blind to improve temperature  
control in the passenger compartment and sun  
visors to avoid dazzle.

To open the blind, take it by its central

Lower the sun visors to avoid dazzle.  
grip A, then pull it backwards and guide it  
to the desired position.

To close the blind, take it by its central  
grip A, then pull it forwards and guide it to  
the desired position.  
do not attach or hang heavy objects to  
the blind or its guide rails.  
before moving the blind, the sun visors must be  
in the folded position.

This can be used to hold a water bottle.  
Version without Zenith windscreen  
Storage  
The sun visors are fitted with a vanity mirror,  
with concealing flap for the driver and a ticket /  
card holder.

For access to the closed storage box, lift  
the lever to open the lid.  
For access to the open storage box below  
the armrest, lift the complete armrest  
towards the rear.  
Its lid has a location for storing the vehicle's  
handbook pack.

To open the glove box, raise the handle.  
It is lit when the lid is opened.  
It houses the front passenger's airbag  
deactivation switch A.  
Version with Zenith windscreen

depending on version, it may house a  
ventilation nozzle B, distributing the same  
conditioned air as the vents in the passenger  
compartment.  
These can be used for portable devices (mobile  
phone, MP3 player...) which can be connected  
to the USB port / auxiliary socket or charged  
from the 12 V socket in the centre console.

The socket is located in the "AUX" box on the  
centre console.  
It permits the connection of a portable device,  
such as a digital audio player of the iPod® type,  
to listen to your music files using the vehicle's  
speakers.  
The USb port is located in the "AUX" box on the  
centre console.  
It permits the connection of a portable device,  
such as a digital audio player of the iPod®  
generation 5 and later type or USB memory stick  
type.

To connect a 12 V accessory (max power:  
120 W), lift the cover and connect a  
suitable adaptor.  
It reads the audio file formats (mp3, ogg, wma,  
wav...) sent to your audio system and played via  
the vehicle's speakers.  
You can manage these files using the steering  
mounted controls or the audio system control  
panel and display them in the multifunction screen.  
The connection of an electrical device  
not approved by CITRoËn, such as a  
USb charger, may adversely affect the  
operation of vehicle electrical systems,  
causing faults such as poor telephone  
reception or interference with displays  
in the screens.  
The management of the files is done  
using your portable device.

To refit the mat on the driver's side:

position the mat correctly,  
refit the fixings by pressing,  
check that the mat is secured correctly.  
To avoid any risk of jamming of the  
pedals:  
The storage drawer is located under the  
driver's seat.  
Fitting

only use mats which are suited to  
the fixings already present in the  
vehicle; these fixings must be used,  
never fit one mat on top of another.  
When fitting the mat for the first time, on the  
driver's side use only the fixings provided in the  
wallet attached.  
Opening

Raise the front of the drawer and pull it.  
The use of mats not approved by  
CITROËN may interfere with access to  
the pedals and hinder the operation of  
the cruise control / speed limiter.  
The mats approved by CITRoËn have  
two fixings located below the seat.  
The other mats are simply placed on the  
carpet.  
Removal

Bring the drawer to the end of its travel.  
Press the ends of the slides.  
Raise the drawer and pull it fully.  
Removal  
To remove the mat on the driver's side:

move the seat as far back as possible,  
unclip the fixings,  
remove the mat.  
Refitting

Engage the drawer in its slides.  
at the end of its travel, press on the top of  
the drawer to secure it.  
do not place heavy objects in the  
drawer.

Raise the boot carpet by pulling the strap  
upwards to gain access to the storage box.  
To remove the shelf:  
The hooks can be used to hold shopping bags.

unhook the two cords,  
raise the shelf slightly, then unclip it on  
each side.  
This has areas for storing a temporary puncture  
repair kit, a box of spare bulbs, a first aid kit,  
two warning triangles, ...

refit the boot floor carpet by folding it  
slightly in the middle.
