MAINTENANCE -> Levels for Your Citroen C6 4 Door Second Generation (2016-2023)

Air lter  
Follow the requirements  
set out in the Maintenance  
and Warranty Guide.  
Engine oil  
Brake uid  
The level of uid should be  
between the marks MIN.  
and MAX. on the reservoir.

Check the engine oil level on  
horizontal ground with the  
engine havingbeen switched  
off for at least 30 minutes.

If this warning lamp comes on  
when driving, stop as soon as  
it is safe to do so and contact a  
CITROËN dealer or a qualied  
workshop.  
It is normal to top up the engine oil  
between two services. The manu-  
facturer recommends that the oil be  
checked and topped up if necessary  
every 3 000 miles (5 000 Km).

Screen wash and  
headlamp wash uid  
Use CITROËN-approved  
products wherever possible.  
Capacity: See "Capacity".  
Pull out the manual dips-  
tick.

Engine coolant  
The uid level should be  
betweenthemarksMIN.and  
MAX. on the header tank.  
Engine hot, wait at least 15 minutes.  
Power steering and  
suspension oil  
For topping up, it is neces-  
sary to go to a CITROËN  
dealer or a qualied workshop.

Never do anything relating to  
the cooling system of an engine  
that is hot.

battery  
If opening the bonnet when the engine is hot, even if it is  
stopped and the ignition is switched off, remember that  
the cooling fan may operate at any moment.  
Between routine servicing visits, check the level of  
engine oil frequently as well as before going on a long  
journey.
