If the spare wheel differs from
the other fitted wheels, these
rules must be followed:
Do not exceed 80 km/h (50mph).
Drive the shortest possible
distances.
Do not fit more than one spare
wheel on your vehicle at any one
time.

type of wheel.
Do not drive through an automatic
car wash.
Lift up the wheelholder and release
the hook.
The spare wheel is located at the rear

Lower the holder and take out the
spare wheel.
Install the defective wheel in the

steering, suspension, engine, braking
system and fuel lines.
Have the passengers leave the
vehicle.
If your vehicle is fitted with
directional tyres, make sure that
the arrows on the tyres point in the
direction of rotation when the vehicle
is moving forwards. The arrows on
both tyre sidewalls indicate the
direction of rotation.
Removing a wheel
If a spare wheel has to be fitted
with the arrows pointing in the
opposite direction to the direction of
rotation, have the tyre remounted in
the correct direction by an expert as
soon as possible.
The vehicle jack must only be
used to carry out wheel
changes. Do not work underneath
the vehicle when it is supported only
by the jack.
