PROCEDURE FOR PETROL
VERSIONS
STARTING THE ENGINE
With engine off, do not
leave the key in the ignition
switch on MAR-ON
The car is fitted with an electronic
engine lock device: if the engine fails
to start, see the paragraph “The Ford
CODE system” in the section
“Knowing your car”.
Proceed as follows:

press the clutch pedal all the way
down without touching the

the first few seconds of operation,
