ARMING THE ENGINE

The system is armed five seconds
after switching off the ignition. The
indicator lamp will flash.
DISARMING THE ENGINE
IMMOBILISER
Switching on the ignition disarms the
system if the correct code is
recognised. The indicator lamp in the
clock illuminatesfor approximately
three seconds and then
extinguishes.
If the indicator lamp illuminates
constantly for one minute or flashes
for approximately one minute and
then repeatedly at irregular intervals,
the system did not recognise the key
code. Remove the key and try again.
If a key with an incorrect code was
used, a waiting period of about 20
seconds is required before starting
the vehicle with a correctly coded
key.
If the engine does not start, a system
malfunction has occurred. Have the
system checked by an expert
immediately.
