Features Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Pre-collision Monitor and Blind Spot Assist features.
Adaptive Cruise Control – Will automatically keep your vehicle a
safe distance from the vehicle in front, should it slow or stop when
you’re cruising or travelling in slow-moving traffic. If the vehicle in
front stops, you will come to a smooth halt.
Rear Pre-collision Monitor – If a vehicle approaching from
behind is not slowing down, Defender will attempt to alert
the approaching driver to brake by automatically flashing the
hazard lights.
BLIND SPOT ASSIST FEATURES
Features Blind Spot Assist, Clear Exit Monitor and Rear Traffic Monitor.
Blind Spot Assist – Can help prevent collisions. If your Defender
detects another car in your blind spot when you begin to change
lanes, a rotational force is automatically applied to the steering
wheel – indicating a steering correction should be made.
Clear Exit Monitor – Helps passengers stay safe as they exit
Defender by warning of approaching hazards, such as passing
vehicles and cyclists.
Rear Traffic Monitor – Warns you of vehicles, pedestrians or other
hazards approaching from either side. Particularly useful when
reversing out of a parking bay.
