Only operate this equipment when the
traꢁc situation permits.
If you cannot be sure of this, stop the
vehicle whilst paying attention to road
and traꢁc conditions and operate the
equipment with the vehicle stationary.

WARNING Risk of accident if the instru-
ment display fails
If the instrument display has failed or is mal-
functioning, function restrictions in systems
relevant to safety cannot be detected.

mation systems and communications
equipment
The on-board computer shows only display mes-
sages and warnings from speciꢀc systems on the
instrument display. You must therefore ensure
that your vehicle is always reliable.
If you operate information systems and com-
munication devices integrated in the vehicle
when driving, you could be distracted from the
traꢁc situation. This could also cause you to
lose control of the vehicle.
If the operating safety of your vehicle is impaired,
park the vehicle immediately and in accordance
with the traꢁc conditions. Contact a qualiꢀed
specialist workshop.
