Setting the interior lighting switch-off delay

Overview of the bulbs to be changed  
Halogen headlamps  
Do not use a bulb if it has been dropped or if  
its glass has been scratched. The bulb may  
otherwise explode.  
Do not touch the glass bulb with your bare  
hands.

Protect bulbs from moisture and do not allow  
bulbs to come into contact with liquids.

Set the switch-off delay time.

Notes on changing bulbs

WARNING Risk of burns from hot com‐  
ponent parts whilst replacing a bulb  
Bulbs, lamps and plugs can become very hot  
during operation.  
When replacing a bulb, you could burn your‐  
self on these component parts.

Turn signal light: PWY 24 W bulb  
High beam: H7 55 W bulb  
Low beam: H7 55 W bulb

Allow the component parts to cool  
down before replacing the bulb.

Tail lamps  
Changing the front bulbs (vehicles with halo‐  
gen headlamps)  
To remove: using a suitable object, turn the  
two mounts 1 of the cover 2 in an anti-  
clockwise direction as far as they will go.  
Remove the unlocked cover 2 from the  
wheel arch liner by pulling it upwards.  
To fit: insert cover2 at bottom of the wheel  
arch liner.  
Using a suitable object, turn the two mounts  
1 of the cover 2 in clockwise direction as  
far as they will go.  
Fitting/removing the cover in the front  
wheel arch  
Requirements:

The lighting system is switched off.

The appropriate front wheel is turned  
inwards.  
Replacing bulbs in the halogen headlamp  
Requirements:  
The lighting system is switched off.  
Low beam/high beam

A H7 55 W light bulb is available.

The bonnet is open.  
Turn signal light: PY 21 W bulb  
Reversing light: W 16 W bulb  
Turn signal lights:

A PWY 24 W light bulb is available.  
R
The cover in the front wheel arch has been  
removed.

Replacing the tail lamp bulbs  
Requirements:  
Insert the socket and turn it clockwise.  
Press on the housing cover and turn it clock‐  
wise.  
Turn signal lights: install the cover in the  
front wheel arch.  
The lighting system is switched off.  
The side trim panel in the boot is open.  
Turn signal lights:

A PY 21 W light bulb is available.  
Changing the rear bulbs (vehicles with halo‐  
gen headlamps)  
Reversing lights:

A W 16 W light bulb is available.  
Opening and closing the side trim panels in  
the boot

Turn signal lights

Turn the relevant housing cover 13 anti-  
clockwise and remove it.  
Low beam / high beam: turn the socket  
anti-clockwise and remove it.  
Indicator: turn the socket anti-clockwise,  
release it and remove it.

Pull the bulb out of the socket.  
#
To open: release right-hand or left-hand side  
trim panels 1 at the top and remove.  
Insert the new bulb into the socket such that  
the entire base of the bulb is resting on the  
bottom of the socket.

To close: reinsert side trim panel 1.
