The rear side window can be opened or closed
in the following cases:

the driver's door

the corresponding rear door or driver's
door
Occupant presence reminder
Function of the occupant presence reminder
The occupant presence reminder can help to
remind you about a child who may have been for-
gotten in the rear passenger compartment of the
vehicle. It activates and deactivates automatically
when a rear door is open for an extended period
of time and a child, which the system presumes to
be present, could enter or exit the vehicle.
When the vehicle is switched o, the
Do Not
Leave People or Animals in the Vehicle
message
will appear on the driver's display if the system
has previously activated automatically.
You can permanently deactivate the function in
the multimedia system (/ page 68). When the
system is deactivated, the p indicator lamp on
the driver's display lights up.
