Fitting a roof aerial to vehicles with a roof luggage rack is subject to restric‐
tions, and cannot be generally permitted. Further information about these
restrictions can be obtained at a qualified specialist workshop.
Use Technical Specification ISO/TS 21609 (Road Vehicles – "EMCs for installa‐
tion of aftermarket radio frequency transmitting equipment") when retrofitting
two-way radios. Comply with the legal requirements for detachable parts.
If your vehicle is equipped with the pre-installation for a two-way radio,
use the power supply and aerial connectors provided in the pre-installation.
Observe the manufacturer's supplements when fitting.
