Charging times – Mode 2 and charging times –
Mode 3 apply to AC charging from 0 % to 100 % of
the usable energy content. Charging time –mode
4 applies to DC charging from 10 % to 80 % of the
usable energy content.
The time taken to charge the battery depends on
the state of charge of the battery, the ambient
temperature and the charging capacity of the bat-
tery. The charging capacity, in turn, depends on
the supply voltage, the current and the type of
power supply.

found on the information label in the socket cover
(/ page 291).
Trailer hitch
General notes on the trailer hitch
Modications to the cooling system may be nec-
essary, depending on the vehicle model. The ret-
rotting of a trailer hitch is only permissible if a
trailer load is specied in the vehicle documents.
Further information can be obtained at a qualied
specialist workshop.
