Opening Height Setting of Electric Tailgate
Emergency Tailgate Release
Users can set the opening height of the electric tailgate as
needed by using the Close button at the tailgate or the
entertainment display. The electric tailgate controller will
record the new opening height.
The tailgate emergency open switch is located in the inner
side of the tailgate lock.
Lower the rear seat to make sure the emergency open
lockhole plug on the tailgate trim panel can be accessed.
Setting mode 1:
Rotate the emergency release counterclockwise with a
suitable tool to open the tailgate from inside.

Place the tailgate to desired setting height and keep it
stationed.

Press and hold the Close button at tailgate for 3s, the
buzzer will make a sound to indicate the setting was
successful.
Setting mode 2:
Open the entertainment display screen, enter the

tailgate height setting interface and set the desired
height position.
Note: If the electric tailgate system develops
a
fault, the relevant warning message 'Electric Tailgate
System Failure' and icon will be displayed in the
message centre of the instrument pack, please seek
an Authorised Repairer for service.
