Battery
You can see the battery when you open the engine
compartment. The battery is maintenance-free type,
therefore there is no need to refill fluid.
Battery Maintenance
DO NOT leave electric components switched
Note: If the vehicle is stored for more than 1 month,
remove the negative terminal from the battery. Make
sure that the START/STOP switch has been turned
off before connecting or disconnecting the negative
terminal. When connecting the negative terminal
again, the vehicle must be left in a locked state for 4
hours to re-calibrate the battery condition. Failure to
adhere to this will inhibit the stop/start functionality.

Battery Replacement
The battery contains sulphuric acid, which is
corrosive.

Please go to an MG Authorised Repairer to remove and
install the battery. Only fit a replacement battery of the
same type and specification as the original to maintain the
correct vehicle functionality.
