Speed Limiter
ULTRASONIC PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM*
Push the Speed Limiter main switch
, accelerate to the desired speed
limit and press <SET/-> . The set
speed limit or [SET] symbol will be
shown on the vehicle information
display together with the speed
limiter indicator.

Ultrasonic sensors, "tted in the rear bumper, measure the distance between
the rear bumper and any obstacle behind the vehicle when reversing. The
system is automatically activated when the reverse (R) gear is selected.
After selecting the reverse gear, a top-view of the vehicle is shown on the
vehicle information display. On the display, the distances (under 1.5 meter)
to objects behind the vehicle are shown. If the vehicle gets closer to the
object(s), colours change from green through yellow to red and the audible
warning sound increases in frequency to a solid tone. A solid tone and red
colour indicate a very small distance to an obstacle behind the vehicle.

To turn the speed limiter o!, push the speed limiter main
switch . If the speed limiter is enabled and the vehicle
speed exceeds the set limit (e.g. on a downhill slope), an
audible warning will sound. If the accelerator pedal is fully
depressed, the speed limiter will be overriden and the
vehicle will accelerate above the set speed.
