Operation
F Place switch 1 in the ON position.
A speed can be memorised.
Changing a memorised speed
To memorise a speed higher than the
previous one:
F press button 3;
F Place switch 1 in the OFF position
to cancel.
F release it when you have reached
the required speed.
To memorise a speed lower than the
previous one:
F press button 2;
Memorising a speed
F release it when you have reached
the required speed.
As soon as you reach the chosen
speed, press button 2 or 3. This
memorises the speed.
CRUISE CONTROL
Cruise control enables the vehicle
to maintain a steady speed pro-
grammed by the driver.
In order for it to be memorised, the
vehicle speed must be greater than
25 mph (40 km/h), and fourth gear at
least must be engaged.
Note: It is possible to accelerate and
drive momentarily at a speed greater
than the memorised speed. When
the accelerator pedal is released, the
vehicle will return to the memorised
speed.
Cancelling the cruise control
F Place switch 1 in the OFF position
or switch off the ignition.
Cancelling the memorised
speed
On a steep descent, the
cruise control will not be able
to prevent the vehicle from
exceeding the programmed
speed.
If you wish to cancel the memorised
speed:
F press button 4 or the brake or
clutch pedal.
The cruise control cannot, in any
case, take the place of observance of
the speed restrictions, or of the vigi-
lance or responsibility of the driver.
Recalling the memorised
speed
Do not use the cruise control on slip-
pery roads or in heavy trafic.
After cancellation, press button 4.
Your vehicle will return to the last
memorised speed.
