How do I open the charge port door and begin the charging process?
The charge port door is located on the le side
of the Cayenne right past the rear passenger door.
Before opening, ensure the transmission is in the
position, the ignition is switched o, and the
vehicle is unlocked.
1. Open the charge port door by pressing
on the rear part of the door as shown in
the rst image.
2. Press the release button (arrow) and insert
the vehicle plug into the charge port. Aer
letting go of the release button (arrow), the
vehicle plug is now locked and the charging
process will begin. A light indicator B and C
will show the state of charge of the battery
and the locking status of the plug.
3. To end the charge process, press button C.
To remove the plug, simply press the release
button (arrow) and disconnect the cable
within 20 seconds.
