How do I save my personal settings in my vehicle? OPTIONAL

Certain settings can be stored or retrieved in the Cayenne via the Driver Prole or

Memory Buttons.

When the ignition is switched o, the settings just previously made are automatically

saved to the driver prole in the PCM. When entering the vehicle, the settings will

automatically be retrieved via the vehicle key, or when the driver prole is changed.

If there are multiple persons driving the vehicle, it is recommended to use one driver

prole and vehicle key per person.

On the driver door there are three memory buttons to store additional settings.

Memory Button Management:

Ergonomic settings can be saved on the memory buttons on the driver’s door.

1. Press the SET button. The indicator light will

light up.

2. Press the preferred memory button (1, 2, or 3)

within 10 seconds.

3. There will be an acoustic chime and the light

indicator in the SET button will go out.

Driver Prole Management:

Up to 6 driver proles and 1 guest prole can be created in the Porsche Cayenne.

When the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) System is rst activated,

the Set-up Wizard will display and guide you through important steps for conguring

your PCM. It is recommended you run the wizard to ensure you create a full driver prole

for yourself. To manage driver proles, go to SET > Driver.

How do I open and close the power tailgate?

There are multiple ways to open and close the power tailgate.

• Opening the tailgate from the

outside using the button:

Depending on if the vehicle is equipped

with Comfort Access or not, ensure the

vehicle is unlocked or the vehicle key is

being carried. To open, press the button

on the tailgate as depicted on

the image.

• Opening the tailgate via the vehicle key:

By simply pressing the on the vehicle key,

the tailgate can be opened.

• Opening the tailgate using

foot gesture:

(if equipped with Comfort Access

and activated in the PCM):

1. Stand in a central position behind

the vehicle.

2. Move your foot toward the vehicle

and back in one sequence. A warning

tone will sound and the tailgate

will open.

• Opening the tailgate using the

button on the driver’s door:

To open, briey press button A on the

driver’s door.

HELPFUL TIP You can also adjust the height of the tailgate by pressing on the trim

button on the tailgate. Simply press the button and then move the tailgate manually to the

desired opening height. Press and hold the tailgate trim button for approx. 3 seconds.

How do the Emergency Call Systems work?

Depending on model, country, or equipment, Emergency and Breakdown Call Systems

can be used to request help in an emergency or a dangerous situation. Additionally,

location information for the vehicle can be transmitted in the event of a breakdown or the.

Triggering an emergency call via the SOS button:

1. Open the cover.

2. Press the SOS button B for at least 1 second. If the

SOS button is pressed again for 1 second, within 6

seconds the call will be cancelled. The light indicator

Breakdown call:

Help can be requested via the breakdown call feature in

case of accidents. Please note this feature is for accidents

that do not include personal injury. Please consult your
