Open the bonnet.

Checking the level

›

Remove the bonnet stay from the

holder and insert the end of the

stay into the opening in the bon-

net.

The ﬁll level must be within the

marked range.

If the ﬁll level is below the mark

, top up the coolant.

Closing

Lift the bonnet.

Unhook the bonnet stay and insert it into the holder.

Fold the bonnet down and release it with a distance of 30 cm

remaining.

NOTICE

Risk of damage to the space under the front ﬂap!

Do not top up the coolant above the marked area. The coolant

could be forced out of the cooling system when heated.

Check that the bonnet is closed.

NOTICE

There must be a small quantity of coolant in the tank.

Do not add coolant when the tank is empty.

Do not press down on an unclosed bonnet.

Stop driving! Seek the help of a specialist garage.

Checking the ﬁll level and topping up

The cooling system is pressurised.

Do not open the coolant expansion tank cap immediately after

the ignition is stopped and turned oﬀ.

✓ The vehicle is on a horizontal surface

✓ Ignition oﬀ

Place a wipe on the lid of the tank and carefully unscrew the

lid.

Reﬁll with coolant of the correct speciﬁcation.

Screw on the cap until it clicks into place.

Speciﬁcation

To reﬁll the coolant additive use G12evo (TL 774 L).

Turn ignition oﬀ and seek the help of a specialist garage.

There is a loss of coolant

Top up the coolant and seek the help of a specialist garage.

Risk of damage to the cooling system and the engine!

Adding coolant that does not conform to the correct speciﬁca-

tion can reduce the corrosion protection of the cooling system.
