Operation  
Conditions for changing a bulb  
Switching on  
Ignition off  
Light switched off  
Push the lever in the  
direction of the arrow.  
It lights up in the instru-

ment cluster  
from  
the isolation box.  
Remove the cover with  
the bracket from the  
tool kit.  
Switching off  
Manually switch the high beam on or off.  
Function restriction  
The system may dazzle other road users if their  
headlights/lights are not detected for the following  
reasons, for example:  
Unscrew screws A and  
remove the lamp.  
The headlights/lights of oncoming vehicles are  
covered by crash barriers, for example.  
The headlamps/lights of the oncoming or preced-  
ing vehicle are dirty or not functioning.  
Settings  
Activation/deactivation  
The function is activated or deactivated in the fol-  
lowing menu in the Infotainment system:  
Press the lock mecha-  
nisms on the connec-  
tor and remove the  
connector.  
Or:  
Activation/deactivation  
The function is activated or deactivated as follows in  
the Infotainment system in the menu  
.
Turn and remove the  
socket with the bulb.  
Replace light bulbs  
What you should be mindful of  
DIY replacement of the following bulbs is possible.  
Have the remaining light sources replaced by a spe-  
cialist garage.  
The new bulb must conform to the specification of  
the original light bulb. The name of the bulb is  
marked on the bulb socket.  
NOTICE  
Danger of headlight damage due to the ingress of  
water and dirt!  
Always fit the protective cap on the headlight cor-  
rectly after changing a bulb.

Change the bulb in the  
socket.  
Turn and remove the  
socket with the bulb.  
Push the base with the  
new light bulb into the  
luminaire so that the  
guide lugs on the base  
and the associated  
openings in the lumin-  
aire are flush.  
Turn the socket clock-  
wise to secure.  
Insert the connector into the light until it clicks into  
place.  
Change the bulb in the  
socket.  
Push the base with the  
new light bulb into the  
luminaire so that the  
guide lugs on the base  
and the associated  
openings in the lumin-  
aire are flush.  
Turn the socket clock-  
wise to secure.  
Insert the cover cap until it clicks into place.  
Insert the lamp with the cones screws into the  
openings B in the body.  
Interior lighting  
Operation  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to the electrical system!  
Switching on automatically  
The lighting switches on when one of the following  
events occurs.  
Make sure that the lines between the lamp and the  
body are not pinched when the lamp is inserted.  
Screw on the lamp.  
Fit the cover of the light, ensuring it clicks into  
place.  
The vehicle is unlocked  
One of the doors is opened  
The ignition key is removed (vehicle without start-  
er button)  
Reversing light  
Automatic switch off  
The lighting switches off when one of the following  
events occurs:  
Open the boot lid.  
Release and remove  
the cover cap in the  
boot lid.  
The vehicle is locked  
The ignition is switched on  
About 30 seconds after all the doors have been  
closed  
Operation of the lighting  
Middle
