Occupant Restraint Systems -> Driving position memory system for Your Toyota Aurion 4 Door First Generation (2006-2012)

OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
—Driving position memory
system
This system can memorise the position of
the driver’s seat and outside rear view mir-
rors, and recall them at the touch of a but-
ton.
CAUTION
D Do not recline the seatback any more
than needed. In a frontal collision, the
more the seat is reclined, the greater
the risk of death or serious injury.
Buttons “1” and “2” can memorise two se-
parate positions.
D Seatbelts provide maximum protec-
tion in a frontal or rear collision when
the driver and passengers are sitting
up straight and well back in their
seats. If you are reclined, the lap belt
may slide past your hips and apply
forces directly to the abdomen or your
neck may contact the shoulder belt.
D Refer to page 46 of this manual re-
garding recommended distance be-
tween the driver/front passengers and
the SRS airbag.
