Storage BEV up to twelve months
1. Connect the clamp to the positive
terminal of the vehicle battery in the
engine compartment.
● Discharge the high-voltage battery until
30 percent remain on the battery
range indicator (battery symbol) on the
cluster.
2. Initialize the power windows

● Check tyre pressure.
● Do not plug in the charging cable.
● Fill up the washer fluid reservoir.
● Always store the vehicle in a place with
temperatures between -10 °C and 30
°C.
● ICE / Hybrid 48 V: Check the engine oil
level.
● Vehicle storage at extreme
temperatures may cause damage to
the high-voltage battery.
● Check the coolant level.
● Fit the number plate if necessary.
For further information see propulsion
types ðpage3 .
High-voltage battery
● Remove the black negative (−) cable
from the 12 V vehicle battery and
attach a trickle charger to the vehicle
battery terminals, or keep the 12 V
vehicle battery cables connected and
trickle charge from the positive (+) and
negative (−) terminals in the engine
compartment.
The high voltage battery is designed
for the life of the vehicle if the
recommendations are followed. If it
End-Of-Life Vehicle Recovery
becomes necessary to replace the high
voltage battery, contact a workshop for
instructions on its disposal. Improper
disposal carries the risk of severe
burns, electric shock and damage to the
environment.
Information on end-of-life vehicle
recovery centres and the recycling of
end-of-life vehicles is available on our
website, where legally required. Only
entrust this work to an authorised
recycling centre.
● Every three months, check the high
voltage battery's state of charge. If the
state of charge is below 30 percent,
recharge the high voltage battery to 30
percent.
Putting back into operation
When the vehicle is to be put back into
operation:
