The car's electrical system can be set in dif-
ferent levels/positions and in this way make
the different functions available.

The headlamps come on.

Ignition position II – Press and hold the
button depressed for approx. 5 seconds.
Then release the button.
Warning/indicator lamps illumi-
nate for 5 seconds.
Selecting ignition position
Several other systems are acti-
vated. However, heating in seat
cushions and the rear window
can only be activated after the
car has been started.
Back to ignition position0 – To return to
ignition position 0 from position I and II –
press the start button.
