Change screen display
In the same way as the rear view camera, Area View can display the surrounding area with various screen displays.
1. Tap the function key with the corresponding symbol on the lower edge of the screen.
Front perpendicular parking.
Guide lines help when parking forwards perpendicular to the road.
Rear perpendicular parking.
Guide lines help when parking in reverse perpendicular to the road.
Front cross traffic.
Depiction of the area in front of the vehicle with a wide angle.
Rear cross traffic.
Depiction of the area behind the vehicle with a wide angle.
Other screen displays
Red line: Boundary or safety distance from the vehicle.
Yellow lines: the vehicle's path based on the steering angle.
Green horizontal lines: Boundaries.
Adjust the brightness, contrast, and color.

Introduction
Park Assist displays a suitable parking
space and assists the driver when

How it works
Park Assist is an extension of Park Distance Control.
Park Assist steers the vehicle into a parking space while the driver operates the accelerator pedal and the brake and, when
prompted, changes the selector lever position or gear ⇒

Available functions
Displaying suitable parking spaces in the Infotainment system.
Change the parking space selection in the Infotainment system.
Driving into a suitable parallel parking space or parking bay.
Driving out of a suitable parallel parking space.
The driver should continuously monitor the area surrounding the vehicle ⇒
. Automatic braking support may intervene if
there are obstacles in the vehicle's path or in dangerous situations → page , Automatic braking intervention.
If the driver accelerates too much during the parking process, automatic braking support may occur. The parking process
can then be resumed.
