Body assembly
Front bumper cover and bonnet
The bonnet has two strikers and two catches on the left and right. The catch in the middle for the bonnet has
been omitted. This can reduce injuries to pedestrians in frontal collisions. There is one screw to the left of the
badge and one to the right that support the guide in the middle.

Dash panel and centre console
The new dash panel design gives the interior considerably more character.
Two dash panels are available with identical designs and a hard or soft surface (slush skin) according to the
equipment. The Infotainment system has been placed much higher than before. In addition, the middle dash
panel is angled slightly towards the driver as is the centre console.

Panoramic sliding sunroof
The bonded panoramic sliding sunroof is designed as a top load roof system. 
The panoramic sliding sunroof is equipped with a manually operated sunroof sun blind. The glass roof has been
widened by about 20 mm on each side. The roof weight has increased by approximately 3 kg. This results from
the structural changes compared with the previous model. A steel frame has been fitted and the panoramic
sliding sunroof has been enlarged. The roll-back function is compliant with the legal requirements.

The glass panel is installed using the R2R (Rail2Rail) concept. The side roof panels are not required with this
design. The glass panel also does not require any moulded PU side trims for this reason. There are, however,
acoustic seals on the glass panel and frame. One further new feature is that the base frame is made of metal and
no longer of plastic. The mechanism for the sliding sunroof is installed from above. Therefore there is no need to
remove the headliner to work on the system.
