WARNING
The steering wheel is turned quickly during manoeuvring. Reaching into the steering wheel can cause serious injuries.
● Take over steering only when the system requests you to do so.
● Take over steering in a hazardous situation.

Direction of travel when driving out of a parking space
1. Press the
button.
2. Use the turn signal lever to select the direction (left or right) in which you would like to drive out of the parking space.
3. Select reverse gear.
4. Release the steering wheel when the text message Steering intervention active! Please monitor vehicle area. is displayed.
5. Accelerate carefully.
6. Brake the vehicle when an acoustic signal sounds, the display lights up or when the request to drive forwards appears on the
digital instrument cluster display.
7. Continue the procedure for driving out of the parking space until a text message on the digital instrument cluster display and
possibly an acoustic signal indicate that the procedure has been completed.
8. Depress the brake pedal until Park Assist has finished steering or until the display goes out on the digital instrument cluster.
9. Take over steering with the already set steering angle.

When driving out of a parking space, there is a danger that the vehicle could drive into moving traffic. This can lead to an accident
and to serious or fatal injuries.
● Drive the vehicle out of the parking space only when permitted by the traffic situation.
