Glove Compartments

Upper Glove Compartment

To open the upper compartment, press upward on the

release button (1), the door will open automatically.

To close the compartment door, push firmly downward

on the doors surface until latched.

To open the lower compartment, pull out on the release

handle (2). The lower compartment handle is also

equipped with a lock.

Both interior front door panels have multiple pockets for

storage.

The area below the floor covers, located in front of the

second row seats, is available for storage.

CAUTION!

The storage bin cover must lay flat and be locked to

avoid damage from contact with the front seat tracks,

which have minimal clearance to the cover.

WARNING!

In an accident, serious injury could result if the seat

storage bin covers are not properly latched.

Do not drive the vehicle with the storage bin

covers open.

Keep the storage bin covers closed and latched

while the vehicle is in motion.

Do not use a storage bin latch as a tie down.

Always close the storage bin covers when your

vehicle is unattended.

CAUTION!

Do not allow children to have access to the second

row seat storage bins. Once in the storage bin,

young children may not be able to escape. If

trapped in the storage bin, children can die from

suffocation or heat stroke.

The storage bin cover must be flat and locked to

avoid damage from contact with the front seat tracks,

which have minimal clearance to the cover.

Seat Storage Bin Cover Emergency Release Lever

— If Equipped

As a security measure, your vehicle is built with a

Storage Bin Cover Emergency Release built into the

storage bin cover latching mechanism.

In an accident, serious injury could result if the

seat storage bin covers are not properly latched.

Do not drive the vehicle with the storage bin

covers open. Keep the storage bin covers closed

and latched while the vehicle is in motion.

Center And Rear Overhead Console Storage — If

The overhead storage system comes in several options.

Storage Bin Cover Emergency Release Lever

NOTE: In the event of an individual being locked inside

the storage bin, the storage bin cover can be opened from

inside of the bin by pushing on the glow-in-the-dark

lever attached to the storage bin cover latching

mechanism.

Rear Compartment Storage

Cargo Area Storage

The seats in your vehicle are in-line which enables you to

stow long objects, such as lumber or skis, on the floor

without moving the seats.

NOTE: With all rear seat backs folded, a 4 ft x 8 ft (1.2 m

x 2.4 m) sheet of building material may be stored on top

of the folded seats with the liftgate closed. The front seats

must be moved slightly forward of the rearmost position.
