Never ignore warning lamps or text messag-
es.
Damaged alternator.
Stop the vehicle as soon as possible and
when safe to do so.
The vehicle battery will not be charged by the al-
ternator while the vehicle is in motion.

Stop system cannot start the engine.
Replace the battery.

For vehicles with Start-Stop system, the Start-
Stop system cannot start the engine.
When switching the ignition on, certain warning
and indicator lamps flash to check functions.
