Analogue instrument cluster  
The ventilation is switched on with maximum venti-  
lation output. By repeatedly pressing the button, the  
ventilation output is reduced until it is switched off.

The ventilation output is indicated by the number of  
illuminated indicator lights in the button.  
The ventilation can be adjusted with the igni-  
tion on. The ventilation is only switched on af-  
ter the engine has been started.

The system saves the driving data in the following  
memories:

— Driving data from the time of switching on the ig-  
nition until the ignition is switched off again is  
stored in the memory. If the journey is interrup-  
ted for more than 2 hours, the memory will be re-  
set.  
Setting the brightness of the instrument cluster  
lighting  
The brightness of the instrument lighting is adjusted  
automatically according to the given lighting condi-  
tions.  
Long-term  
— The driving data of all trips up to a total of 99  
hours and 59 minutes driving time or 9999 km  
driving distance is stored in the memory. If one of  
the listed values is exceeded, the memory is reset.  
The brightness of the instrument lighting is set in  
the Infotainment in the following menu.

beyond which an acoustic warning signal will sound

Functionality  
In the event of a system fault, messages regarding  
the fault in question are displayed on the instrument  
cluster display when the ignition is switched on.

Messages in relation to faults can also be displayed  
in the Infotainment.  
Restriction  
For safety reasons, operation of some Infotainment  
functions while driving is not possible or is restric-  
ted.  
The warning messages will continue to be dis-  
played until the malfunctions have been rem-  
edied. After the first display of the message, only  
the indicator lights (Hazard) or (Warning) are  
displayed.  
The Infotainment system indicates this by means of  
a message in the screen.
