Do not carry reserve jerry cans in the vehicle.
NOTICE
If refuelling is carried out incorrectly, damage to
the vehicle may occur.
Refuel only with fuels that have been
authorised for the vehicle.
Do not refuel with metalliferous fuels and
use only authorised additives.
If fuel overflows, clean it immediately from all
parts of the vehicle.
Fuel may pollute the environment. If any
operating fluid leaks,
collect it and dispose of it properly.
Emergency unlocking of the fuel filler flap is
not possible. So-

Fuel and refuelling
Introduction to the topic
If in an emergency you have to refuel with
petrol with an octane rating that is too low,
drive only at an intermediate engine speed
and avoid high engine speeds and high
engine loads. Avoid high engine speeds and
high engine stresses, otherwise the engine
could be damagel as soon as
possible.
The fuel filler flap is located on the right-hand
side of the vehicle in the rear area page 8.
The type of fuel to be refuelled depends on the
vehicle's engine type. The type of fuel used by
the vehicle is shown on the factory sticker on
the inside face of the fuel filler flap.

refuelling is only possible with diesel fuel
dispenser nozzles.
Park the vehicle so that no components of
the exhaust system come into contact with
readily flammable materials that may be
under the vehicle, such as dry grass.
If the protection does not give way, turn the
gun slightly from side to side. This allows the
protection to open and refuelling is possible. If
the protection still does not open, have the
system checked by a specialist workshop.
Never use additional underbody protection
or corrosion protection products for
exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, particle
filters or heat insulators.
If the vehicle has to be refuelled with a reserve
canister in an emergency, the protection will not
open. In this case, pour the diesel fuel in very
