Introduction to the topic
Some menu items can only be opened when the
vehicle is stationary.
After starting the engine with a deeply
discharged or freshly replaced 12-volt battery,
some system settings (such as time, date,
custom comfort settings and programmes) may
have been misadjusted or erased. Check and
correct these settings once the battery is
sufficiently charged.
As long as there is a warning with priority 1, no

Operating conditions
Driving behaviour is only assessed at
speeds between approx. 65 km/h (40
mph) and 200 km/h (125 mph).
Switching on and off
Depending on the equipment, the
system can be switched on and off in
the Assistants menu in the instrument

checkbox has the "tick" activated, the
assistance system is switched on.
Limited operation
The fatigue detection system is subject
to certain limitations inherent in the
system. The following conditions may
cause the system to function in a
limited manner or not at all:
speeds below 65 km/h (40
mph)
speeds above approx. 200
km/h (125 mph).

situations:
The ignition is switched off.
The driver's seat belt is
unfastened and the driver's door
is open.
The vehicle remains stationary for
more than 15 minutes.
If you drive for a long time at less
than 65 km/h (40 mph), the system
automatically stops assessing fatigue. If
you then drive faster again, the system
