With Audi connect Infotainment services, online
information is transmitted directly to the vehicle.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
Applies to: vehicles with Wi-Fi
An Internet connection is required to use Audi
connect Infotainment. Depending on the country
and vehicle equipment, the Internet connection
can be established using an embedded SIM card
(eSIM) or using your own SIM card in a mobile
phone using Wi-Fi.
The vehicle can use Wi-Fi to connect to a Wi-Fi
hotspot.
Requirement: the ignition must be turned on.

If necessary, turn on the “Wi-Fi hotspot (tether-
ing)” function or the “personal hotspot” on
your mobile device.
