Opening/closing the windows with the

convenience open/close function

Convenience open/close function for

windows

– After you have folded the backrest back up-

wards, always check to see if the locking

mechanism is properly engaged by pulling

the backrest forwards.

Important: Your vehicle must have a convenience

key or digital key.

You can use the MMI to set whether all the win-

dows are opened all at once ðpage 34, Adjusting

Opening/closing the windows

All of the window switches can be operated from

the driver’s seat. All windows have two-stage

switches:

To open/close the window automatically,

press/pull the switch  briefly to the second

position. The window will stop moving immedi-

ately if the switch  is operated again.

Programming the garage door opener

The procedure described here is suitable for pro-

gramming both fixed code and rolling code sys-

tems on the MMI.

– Do not allow looking at the displays and op-

erating the centre display to distract you

from watching the traffic.

Important: The vehicle must be switched on and

use of the location for the vehicle app must be

active.

Programming hand-held transmitters

Important: The relevant hand-held transmitter

must have been programmed ðpage 50, Pro-

gramming the garage door opener, the vehicle

must be within range of the system and must be

switched on.

Important: You must have the hand-held trans-

mitter with you, and the vehicle must be within

range of the system (e.g. garage door) you would

like to program. If you program more than three

hand-held transmitters, assign the first three

slots to the systems you want to use in reverse

gear.

Renaming a system

For some systems, the garage door opener func-

tion will be available immediately after program-

ming. For others, the garage door opener func-

tion must also be synchronised.

You can assign individual names (with up to 10

characters) to the systems you have program-

med.

If you have just programmed your system, fol-

low the instructions on the MMI, or

Important: You must have already programmed

the hand-held transmitter, and the vehicle must

be within range of the system (e.g. garage door).

If you wish to rename a previously programmed

system:

Storing the location

Important: Your vehicle must have a GPS link. For

more convenient operation, you can program in

the location of your system (GPS link).

button.

– Select Yes, in UR-Mode and follow the instruc-

tions on the MMI.
