Audi drive select
dynamic – gives the vehicle a tighter set-up and
is ideal for performance driving. Driving pro-
gram S is selected.
Introduction
Applies to: vehicles with Audi drive select
individual – allows the vehicle set-up to be adjus-
ted to your personal preferences. Press to con-
figure the mode ðpage 131, Individual settings.
Audi drive select allows you to use different set-
ups on your vehicle. You can switch between dif-
ferent driving modes, e.g. from a dynamic set-up
to a comfortable one. In addition, you can adapt
the set-up of individual systems to suit your per-
sonal driving style.
Note
– When the ignition is switched on, certain
systems (such as the drive system) are reset
to a balanced setting. Select the current
mode again to use its settings in full.
– Audi recommends auto mode for everyday
use.
Selecting an Audi drive select mode

Applies to MMI: On the home screen, select
On RS models, two RS modes which can be con-
figured separately are available instead of indi-
vidual mode. The mode is cancelled again when
you switch off the ignition.

You can change the mode while the vehicle is sta-
tionary or moving. If traffic conditions permit,
briefly take your foot off the accelerator after
changing the mode so that the new mode is also
activated for the power unit.

Press the button on the multi-function
steering wheel to switch between the RS modes
and the most recently selected Audi drive select
mode. Or:
The following options are available, depending
on the equipment in your vehicle:
offroad – assists the driver on unsurfaced tracks.
The air suspension* raises the vehicle to the sec-
ond highest level. The function of the ESC is re-
stricted and the downhill assist function* is acti-
vated. The mode is cancelled again when you
switch off the ignition.

allroad – provides a balanced vehicle set-up. The
air suspension* raises the vehicle to the second
highest level.
Individual settings
Applies to: vehicles with Audi drive select
efficiency – trims the vehicle to a fuel-saving set-
up and helps you to adopt an economical driving
style. The start stop system is activated and driv-
ing program E is selected.
The equipment installed on your vehicle deter-
mines which systems you can select:
comfort – alters the vehicle set-up for a more
comfortable ride and is suitable for long motor-
way trips, for instance.
