Introduction

It is possible to receive television in your vehicle
via the applicable digital aerial standard . De-

pending on its equipment, your vehicle may have
a CI+ slot to receive encrypted channels

Note
Television broadcasts are interrupted by traf-
fic reports if the traffic announcements* func-
tion is active ðpage 284.
For safety reasons, the TV picture on the upper
display is not available while the vehicle is mov-
ing. While you are driving, only the sound is
played.
Setting channels via the MMI

To switch from the TV picture to the channel
Television reception in the vehicle via the aer-
ial is not available nationwide in all countries.
The signal can be affected by network cover-
age and vehicle speed, for example.
