this impairs the effectiveness of the safety  
belts and airbag system, which increases the  
risk of injury.

Adjusting the front seats in the MMI  
Applies to: vehicles with seat settings in the MMI  
The settings depend on the vehicle equipment.  
Adjusting the backrests  
To move the backrest forward or back, press  
the button 1 forward or back.  
Adjusting the seat position  
To move the seat forward or back, push the but-  
ton 2 forward or back.
