Concept  
The display depends on the system's operating  
condition. The following functions of the eDRIVE  
system are shown in the instrument cluster

High-voltage battery charge indicator  
Performance display  
Warning  
Even when it is indicated that the high-voltage  
battery is discharged, the high-voltage system  
is always still under high voltage. There is a risk  
of fire or a risk of injury. Do not touch or change  
live parts, for instance orange high-voltage ca‐  
bles, even when the batteries are discharged.  
The accelerator pedal indicator in the perform‐  
ance display indicates the current efficiency of  
your driving style. The efficient range of the per‐  
formance display is colored blue.  
The gray ePOWER area shows the power that is  
available.  
The fill level bars indicate the available charge  
state of the high-voltage battery when standby  
state and drive-ready state are switched on.  
Accelerator pedal indicator in the CHARGE  
range, arrow 1: display for energy recovered by  
coasting or when decelerating.  
With a low remaining range the color of the  
charge state indicator switches from blue to yel‐  
low.  
Accelerator pedal indicator in the ePOWER  
range, arrow 2: display when accelerating.  
The available power may be reduced due to the  
following factors:

The Check Control system monitors functions in

the monitored systems.

A Check Control message is displayed as a com‐  
bination of indicator or warning lights and text  
messages in the instrument cluster.  
Brake system  
Braking system impaired. Continue to  
drive moderately.  
In addition, an acoustic signal may sound and a  
text message may appear on the Control Display.

Indicator/warning lights  
General information  
The indicator/warning lights in the instrument  
cluster can light up in a variety of combinations  
and colors.  
Forward Collision Warning  
Indicator light illuminates: advance warn‐  
ing is issued, for example when there is  
the impending danger of a collision or

senger belt is not worn or objects are de‐  
tected on the front passenger seat.  
Pedestrian Warning  
Indicator light flashes or is illuminated: safety belt  
on the driver or passenger side is not buckled.  
The safety belt reminder can also be activated if  
objects are placed on the front passenger seat.  
If a collision with a detected person is im‐  
minent, the icon lights up and a signal  
sounds.  
Make sure that the safety belts are positioned  
correctly.

The number bars shows the selected

Tire Pressure Monitor TPM  
The system was deactivated but applies the  
brakes until the driver actively resumes control of  
the vehicle by pressing on the brake pedal or ac‐

The indicator light illuminates: the Tire  
Pressure Monitor reports a low tire infla‐  
tion pressure or a flat tire. Follow the in‐  
formation in the Check Control message.  
The indicator light flashes and is then illuminated  
continuously: flat tires or tire pressure losses  
cannot be detected.  
Yellow lights  
Antilock Braking System ABS  
▷ Interference caused by systems or devices  
with the same radio frequency: after leaving  
the area of the interference, the system auto‐  
matically becomes active again.  
The Brake Assistant function may not  
activate. Avoid abrupt braking. Take the  
longer braking distance into account.  
Have the system immediately checked  
by a dealer's service center or another  
qualified service center or repair shop.  
▷ TPM was unable to complete the reset. Re‐

there can be a risk of icy roads, for instance on  
bridges or shady sections of the road. There is  
a risk of accident. Modify your driving style to  
the weather conditions at low temperatures.

the planned trip. The range is dynamic and can  
abruptly change.  
The range can be abruptly reduced or increased  
based on the following factors:

The camera in the area of the interior mirror de‐  
tects traffic signs at the edge of the road as well  
as overhead sign posts. Traffic signs with extra  
symbols for wet road conditions, etc., are also  
detected and compared with the vehicle's on‐  
board data, such as from the rain sensor, and will  
be displayed depending on the situation. The  
system takes into account the information stored  
in the navigation system and also displays speed  
limits present on routes without signs.

basis of various distances. Periods when the ve‐  
hicle is parked with drive-ready state switched off  
are not considered.
