If the battery is disconnected, the  
settings memory is cleared and  
the default value (OFF) is restored  
automatically.  
If the battery is disconnected, the  
settings memory is cleared and  
the default choice (ON) is restored  
automatically.  
If you select the "---" setting, no  
message will be displayed in  
message display situations.
