Changing a bulb  
Procedure for replacing a faulty bulb with a new bulb.  
Front lamps  
The headlamps are fitted with  
polycarbonate glass with a protective  
coating:  
Changing a bulb should only be done  
after the headlamp has been switched  
off for a few minutes (risk of serious  
burns).  
It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet  
(UV) type bulbs in order not to damage  
the headlamp.  
Always replace a failed bulb with a  
new bulb with the same type and  
specification.

do not clean them using a dry  
or abrasive cloth, nor with a  
detergent or solvent product,  
use a sponge and soapy water or a  
pH neutral product,  
when using a high pressure washer  
on persistent marks, do not keep  
the lance directed towards the  
lamps or their edges for too long,  
so as not to damage their protective  
coating and seals,

1. Direction indicators (H21W amber).  
2. Dipped beam headlamps (H7-55W).  
3. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).  
4. Sidelamps (W5W).

do not touch the bulb directly with  
your fingers, use lint-free cloths.

Remove the protective plastic cover by  
pulling on the tab.  
Turn the bulb-holder by a quarter turn.  
Remove the bulb and change it.  
If either of the direction indicator  
warning lamps is flashing quickly, one of  
the bulbs is faulty.  
Amber coloured bulbs, such as the  
direction indicators, must be replaced  
with bulbs of identical specifications  
and colour.

To refit, carry out these operations in reverse  
order.

Remove the plastic protective cover.  
Pull the bulb-holder and replace the bulb.  
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse

When refitting, close the plastic cover  
carefully to ensure the sealing of the  
headlamp.

Remove the grille located under the  
foglamp.

Through the cover, remove the lamp  
finisher by pulling it towards you.

Unscrew the two fixing screws of the  
module and remove it from its housing.  
Disconnect the bulb holder connector.  
Remove the bulb and change it.

To refit, carry out these operations in reverse  
order.

replacing bulbs, contact your CITROËN  
dealer or a qualified workshop.

Changing the LED lamps  
Changing integral direction  
indicator side repeaters  
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp,  
contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified  
workshop.  
While removing the module:

Insert a screwdriver in the edge of the  
repeater.  
Lever with the screwdriver to extract the  
repeater and pull it out.  
Disconnect the wiring from the repeater.  
Replace the module.

take care not to damage your vehicle's  
paintwork with the screwdriver,  
do not allow the wiring and connector to  
slip behind the wing.

unscrew the two lamp fixing bolts,  
extract the lamp carefully pulling it  
straight out,

turn the bulb holder a quarter turn,  
remove the failed bulb and replace it.

inner panel,  
press on the body of the lamp with  
2 screwdrivers to remove it from its  
housing,  
turn the corresponding bulb-holder a  
quarter turn,

insert a thin screwdriver into one of the  
lens' exterior holes,  
push it outwards to unclip.  
remove the lens.  
press on the tabs using 2 screwdrivers,  
disconnect the lamp connector,  
turn the bulb holder by a quarter turn,  
remove the bulb and replace it.

pull the bulb out and replace it.

For the replacement of the LED, contact a  
CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.  
Footwell lamps (W5W)  
Unclip the cover using a thin screwdriver to  
access the faulty bulb.  
Detach the cover of the interior lamp 1 with a  
thin screwdriver, close to the button, to access  
the faulty bulb.  
Map reading lamps (2 / W5W)  
Detach the cover of the interior lamp. To access  
the faulty bulb, detach the partition for the  
reading lamp 2 concerned, as necessary.

Torch (Krypton 3.6V)  
Door mirror lamps (W5W)  
Detach the unit by pushing it rearwards.

Open the tab.  
Unclip the cover using a thin screwdriver to  
access the faulty bulb.  
Push with a flat screwdriver in the hole  
under the tab and recover the bulb unit.  
Open the bulb unit fully to change the bulb.
