Practical Information
The start of charging is confirmed by the
flashing green CHARGE indicator lamp on the
control unit.
If this is not the case, charging has not
started; restart the procedure, ensuring that all
connections are properly established.
Vehicles with a mechanical key
Manual release of the charging nozzle in case
it is stuck

Unlock Vehicle/door with the mechanical
key.

Turn the key from OFF to ON position.
Switch off AC Power supply.
Tip
Remove the charging nozzle within 2
minutes.
When charging is complete and while
the charging cable is still connected,
opening the driver's door will display the
charge level on the instrument panel for
about 20 seconds.
Vehicles with a remote control key

Unlock the vehicle with the remote control
key.
► Open the bonnet.
► Pull the cable upwards to release the
charging nozzle.
► Ensure fast charger or control unit is turned
off before manual release.

Switch off AC Power supply.
DC fast charging, mode 4
Remove the charging nozzle within 30
seconds.
After that, it will lock again in the charging
connector and charging will resume.
In mode 4 (DC fast charging), the end of
charging is indicated by the charger. Power off
the charger before disconnecting the charging
nozzle.
For mode 4, the charging nozzle can be
unlocked only when charging terminated
through charger or application (charge point
supplier).
Tip
If the manual release cable is pulled,
the vehicle should be put in standby mode
(locked and left to sleep for 3 minutes).
Do not plug in the AC or DC charging nozzle
unless the vehicle is in standby mode.
► Follow the instructions for use of the fast
public charger and connect the cable from the
fast public charger to the vehicle's connector.
After disconnecting the charging nozzle,
replace the protective cover(s) and close the
charging flap.
For mode 2, disconnect the control unit end of
the charging cable from the domestic socket.
Disconnection
In mode 2 (domestic charging), the end of
charging is confirmed when the green CHARGE
indicator lamp on the control unit comes on
fixed.
