Front headlamp unit with  
xenon bulbs (D1s)  
1 Lift up the pegs E to remove the  
cover on the headlamp.  
2 Remove the protective cap F.  
3 Pull the bulb holder to remove  
it.  
5 Replace the protective cap F.  
6 Replace the cover and fix it in  
place using the pegs E.  
Bulbs:  
a sidelamp: W5W  
B Dual-function xenon lamp  
(dipped/main): Dꢀs  
Replace the bulb and replace  
the bulb holder.  
C angular lighting: HPꢀ9  
D Daytime-running lamp: HPꢁ4  
For the maintenance of the front  
headlamp unit and the changing of  
hP19, D1s and hP2ꢀ bulbs, con-  
tact a CiTrn dealer.  
Front headlamps fitted with Xenon bulbs: Because of risks of electrocution, we advise you to  
contact a CiTrn dealer if there is any problem.  
You are advised to change the D1s bulbs at the same time, if one of them has failed.

Bulbs:  
main beam  
1 Lift up the pegs F to remove the  
cover on the headlamp.  
2 Remove the protective cap g.  
3 Disengage the retaining spring.  
Remove the bulb and replace it,  
paying attention to the direction  
of fitting.  
5 Replace the retaining spring.  
6 Replace the protective cap g.  
sidelamp  
1 Lift up the pegs F to remove the  
cover on the headlamp.  
2 Remove the protective cap g.  
3 Pull the bulb holder to remove  
it.  
Replace the bulb and replace  
the bulb holder.  
5 Replace the protective cap g.  
6 Replace the cover and fix it in  
place using the pegs F.  
a main beam: Hꢀ  
B sidelamp: W5W  
C Dipped beam: H7  
D Bend lighting: H7  
E Daytime-running lamp: HPꢁ4

hP2ꢀ bulbs, contact a CiTrn

7 Replace the cover and fix it in  
place using the pegs F.  
halogen bulbs must not be changed until they have been off for a few minutes (risk of serious  
burns).  
Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers, use a lint-free cloth.  
it is essential that only anti-U.v. type bulbs are used in order not to damage the headlamp.

Front direction indicator  
1 Remove the fixing screw of  
cover a using a torx tool, tip the  
cover over and remove.

Dipped beam  
Bend lighting  
1 Lift up the pegs F to remove the  
cover on the headlamp.  
2 Remove the protective cap h.  
3 Disconnect the connector by  
pressing it between the thumb  
and index finger.  
1 Lift up the pegs F to remove the  
cover on the headlamp.  
2 Remove the protective cap i.  
3 Disconnect the connector by  
pressing it between the thumb and  
index finger.  
2 Remove the fixing screw of  
lamp B using a torx tool and pull  
the headlamp unit to remove it  
from the bumper.  
3 Detach the bulb C by pressing  
on bars 1 and 2.  
Disconnect the connector (pull  
whilst pressing on the grey  
tongue using a flat screwdriver).  
5 Replace the bulb.  
6 Connect the connector (push the  
grey tongue in well).  
7 Replace the headlamp unit in the  
bumper.  
8 screw the headlamp unit in.  
9 Position the cover using its  
guides and screw in.  
Bulbs: HPꢁ4W  
Free the bulb from its two metal  
clamps.  
5 Take out the bulb.  
6 Replace the bulb, exerting a  
slight axial force.  
7 Reconnect the connector, until  
it is all the way in.  
8 Replace the protective cap h.  
9 Replace the cover and fix it in  
place using the pegs F.

Front foglamp  
side repeater  
The side repeater is sealed.  
If the bulb is faulty, replace the side  
repeater.  
Contact a CITROËN dealer.  
6 Connect the connector D.  
1 Remove the fixing screw of  
cover a using a torx tool, tip the  
cover over and remove.  
7 Replace the headlamp unit in  
the bumper.  
2 Remove the fixing screw of  
lamp B using a torx tool and pull  
the headlamp unit to remove it  
from the bumper.  
8 screw the headlamp unit in.  
9 Position the cover using its  
guides and screw in.  
3 Disconnect the connector D.  
Bulbs: H8  
Remove the bulb by performing  
a quarter of a turn.  
5 Replace the bulb.  
When replacing, be  
careful not to pinch the  
electrical cables.

Identify the failed bulb.  
rear lamp on boot  
1 Open the boot.  
2 Using a flat screwdriver, remove  
the 3 clips which fix the trim in  
the lamp area.  
3 Partially remove the trim F.  
Disconnect the connector g.  
5 Detach the bulb holder h.  
6 Replace the bulb.  
Bulbs:  
a stop-lamps and sidelamps:  
P ꢁꢀ W / 5 W  
B sidelamp: R 5 W  
C reversing lamp: H ꢁꢀ W  
D Foglamp: H ꢁꢀ W  
7 Replace the bulb holder h.  
8 Connect the connector g.  
E Direction indicator: P ꢁꢀ W  
9 Replace and fix the trim F with  
its clips.  
in some climatic conditions,  
mist may appear on the  
headlamp / indicator lenses.  
This is normal and will  
disappear (e.g. after the  
lamps have been on for a  
few minutes). if not, contact  
a CiTrn dealer.

5 Detach the bulb holder D.  
6 Replace the bulb.

8 Place the lamp in its housing.  
9 Screw in the 2 fixings C.  
10 Connect connector B.  
11 Refit the trim a.  
Note: You can use the spare wheel  
jack handle to screw or unscrew  
the fixings C.

2 Disconnect connector B.  
3 Unscrew the 2 fixings C.  
1 Remove the lateral boot trim  
flap a. To do so, pull it towards  
the inside of the boot, then pull  
it upwards.  
Remove the lamp from its housing.

Place the lamp in its housing.

11 Connect the connector B.  
12 Refit the trim a.

Note : You can use the spare wheel

Third stoplamp  
The third stoplamp uses diodes  
which cannot be replaced.  
In case of malfunction, contact  
a CITROËN dealer.

1 Using a flat screwdriver, detach  
the transparent cover by lever-  
ing it into the notch provided.  
2 Lift up and pull the transparent  
cover.  
3 Using a small flat screwdriver,  
remove the faulty bulb.  
Fit the new bulb by firstly plac-  
ing the angled base on the axis  
of the clips, then press the bulb  
in to insert.  
5 Refit the transparent cover by  
inserting it from the edge oppo-  
site the notch, then press on the  
edge of the transparent cover.  
Bulb: W 5W  
after each operation,  
check that the lamps work.

Unclip the transparent cover of the  
interior lamp to reach the bulb.  
Boot lamp  
To change the bulb, detach the  
Floor lighting  
To change the bulb for the floor  
lighting (front or rear): Detach the  
cover. Use a bulb W 5 W.  
cover and use a bulb W 5 W

Bulb: W 5W  
spotlamp  
Detach the cover.  
To access the bulb, detach if nec-  
essary the partition of the affected  
spotlamp.  
Pavement lighting  
glovebox  
To change the bulb for the door sill  
lighting: Detach the cover. Use a  
bulb W 5 W.  
To change the glovebox bulb,  
detach the cover and use a W 5 W  
bulb.  
rear reading lamps (Tourer)  
Detach the cover of the reading  
lamp to access the bulb.  
Bulb: W 5W
