What to Do If Unable to Unlock the Fuel Fill Door

If you cannot unlock the fuel fill door, use the following procedure.
After taking these steps, contact a dealer to have the
vehicle checked.
1. Open the hatch and remove the cover on
the left side of cargo area.
2. Pull the release cord toward you.
u The release cord unlocks the fuel fill door
when it is pulled.
