Vehicles with Active Parking Assist: Do
not use Active Parking Assist when snow

wheels.

Only mount snow chains on the rear
wheels in pairs.

Vehicles with level control: If snow chains
are installed, only drive at raised vehicle
level.

Six marks 1 show where the bar indicators
(arrow) are integrated into the tire tread. They
are visible once a tread depth of approximately
á in (1.6 mm) has been reached.
If snow chains are mounted to steel wheels,
the wheel trims can be damaged.
You can deactivate ESP® to pull away
(/ page 190). This allows the wheels to
spin, achieving an increased driving force.
