selection of wiping speed
If a wiping speed is selected when
driving, the wiping speed is
reduced to a lower speed when the
vehicle stops:
• from fast wiping speed the speed
will change to normal wiping
speed;
• from normal wiping speed the
speed will change to intermittent
wiping.
With the ignition on, pull the stalk 1
towards you.

Pressing briefly triggers one sweep
cycle of the wiper, while pressing
for longer triggers three cycles.

In frosty weather, make sure the
wiper blades are not stuck by ice
(risk of motors overheating).
Note:
• A Off
If for any reason the wipers cannot
move (e.g. stuck to windscreen by
ice), the system will automatically
cut off the power supply to the
wipers.
Keep an eye on the condition of the
blades. Change the wiper blades as
soon as they become less efficient
(approximately once a year).
• B Intermittent wiping
The wipers will pause for
several
seconds
between
sweeps. The sweep interval
may be varied by turning the
central ring on the stalk
switch 1
If you switch off the ignition before
switching off the windscreen wiper
(position A) the blades will stop at
random on the windscreen.
