230-Volt power socket
Functionality
230 volt socket and USB connections
NOTICE
Danger of damage to the connected consumers!
Do not connect a light with fluorescent lamp to the

socket.
Switch off the consumers before switching the ig-
nition on or off and before starting the engine.

Status display
Lit up in green - the socket is switched on.
▶
Blinking green - the socket is still switched on for
about 10 minutes after the engine has been
switched off, if a consumer was connected before
the engine was switched off.

The socket has a child safety lock. When insert-
ing the plug, the fuse is unlocked and the socket is
switched on.
Operating conditions
The USB connections are for charging only.
✓ Running engine
On vehicles with the START-STOP system, the
socket also works in STOP mode.
48-volt battery
Usage
Due to the recuperation, the electrical energy gener-
ated during braking is stored in the 48-volt battery.
Troubleshooting
The indicator light flashes red
The socket is turned off e.g. for the following rea-
sons:
The electrical energy stored in this way is then used
to start the engine, as a short-term acceleration as-
sist and to power the consumers in the vehicle.
Excessive current
Low state of charge of the 12-volt vehicle battery

What you should be mindful of
Depending on the equipment, the vehicle can have a
48-volt battery.
If the reasons given above no longer exist and the
socket is not switched on automatically, discon-
nect the connected load from the socket and re-
connect after a short time.
